Nominating

Composition: The Nominating Committee shall consist of five (5) members. A chairman and two (2) members from the general membership (Active, Associate, or Sustainer) shall be nominated by the current Nominating Committee and elected by the membership following the same procedures as for directors.  The chairman must have served on the Nominating Committee the previous year.  The President, following the April annual meeting, shall appoint two (2) members from the Board.
Duties: It shall be the duty of the Nominating Committee to nominate the voting directors of the Board, the vacant positions on the Long Range Planning Committee, and the Chairman and two (2) members from the general membership for the following year’s Nominating Committee.
Report: The report of the Nominating Committee shall be presented in writing to the membership before the March general meeting.  Consent of the nominees must be obtained prior to notice being presented to the membership.
