WHO ARE WE?
COUNCIL OF 101, established in 1965, provides financial support to the Orlando Museum of Art to further the cultural development and education of the visual arts in Central Florida.
Our organization is comprised of dedicated volunteers committed to the museum through service and leadership, as demonstrated through the extensive number of volunteer service hours, financial commitments, and diverse skills. The Council of 101 presents three annual fundraiser initiatives including Festival of Trees Orlando, Art in Bloom: Festival of Fine Arts and Flowers, and a Corporate Lease Program.
Since its inception, Council of 101 has donated over $12 million, these funds directly support the acquisition of art and exhibitions, facilities enhancement and museum programming for children and lifelong learning.
The Lifelong learning programs at the Orlando Museum of Art have a significant impact within our community. Our fundraising efforts continue to support programming for the following groups;
ARTS FOR SPARKS; Individuals suffering from memory loss such as Alzheimer's
CREATIVE CONNECTIONS; Individuals with developmental or physical limitations including autism.
FAMILY ART-REACH FOR THE COALITION FOR THE HOMELESS
ART WITH PURPOSE; Art-reach program for the Zebra Coalition - at risk LGBT+ and youth.
ART ON THE GO; Art-reach programs held in retirement centers.
YOUTH ARTREACH; Outreach and fieldtrips for at-risk low income students.

MISSION STATEMENT:
MISSION: The purpose of the Council shall be as follows: to further the cultural development and education of the visual arts in Central Florida are in accordance with the mission of the Museum, as set forth in the Museum Articles of Incorporation and to provide financial resources for the Museum.
