The Council of 101 is a dynamic women’s leadership organization committed to the mission of providing financial support to the Orlando Museum of Art ("OMA"), and furthering the cultural development and education of the visual arts in Central Florida. With over 280 members, we are always looking for new members to join us and learn more about how to get involved.

In 2020-2021, The Council of 101 stands side by side with our members and our community as we face the challenges of the global COVID-19 pandemic. The strain of the closure of schools and businesses have certainly impacted both our membership, the museum and our community. As new challenges arrive, we continue to be flexible and creative when finding ways to raise the funding needed to support OMA.  Through re-imagining our signature fundraising events and programs to accommodate our current environment, we find that we are always stronger when we work together!

Traditionally, Council of 101 raises funds at our premiere fundraisers open to all: The Festival of Trees - November 12 - 29, 2020 and Art In Bloom - March 24 - 28, 2021.  These fundraisers allow us to support the lifelong learning programs at the Orlando Museum of Art. The programs offered at OMA reach deep into the community offering programming for all ages.

Members of the Council of 101 begin their provisional year as they learn how to  reach their leadership potential within the council.  While working towards a common goal our members form strong bonds and develop friendships that last a lifetime.  We invite you to learn more about our membership, become a community volunteer, partner with us as a sponsor or attend one of our festivals to share in the excitement.

Our leadership is always available to answer any question that you may have. On behalf of the members of Council of 101, thank you for your interest and support of our organization and The Orlando Museum of Art.

President 2020-2021
