FAQs:
Festival of Trees 2020

Q: What safety protocols will the Team at OMA / Council of 101 implement during Festival of Trees this year?

A: Face masks are required to be worn during your visit to OMA. If you choose to wear a face shield, we ask that you still wear a face mask underneath. Social distancing is enforced throughout our spacious galleries, and we are operating at 50% capacity. Hand sanitizer stations are located throughout the museum. For more information on safety protocols, please visit the Eventbrite posting for Festival of Trees and Cocktails with Santa.

Q: Can I buy my tickets on-site the day of the event?

A: We strongly encourage online ticket purchases. Our events are set at a limited capacity so we can not guarantee ticket availability for walk-ins. You can purchase tickets for Festival of Trees and Cocktails with Santa.

Q: I purchased my tickets but need to change the date/time.

A: Please email councilof101@omart.org to request a new date/time. Make sure to include your order number, original date and time of tickets and the date and time you would like to change them to.

Q: Is Cocktails with Santa a separate event from Festival of Trees?

A: Cocktails with Santa is a separate ticketed event. This event is on select Fridays in November and includes admission to the Festival of Trees only from 5:30-7:30pm on the Friday of your choosing. Click here for more information on the event.

Q: Where can I park when I arrive?

A: There will be a $5 fee per vehicle parking onsite from Tuesdays-Sundays. Overflow parking is available at the Orlando Science Center parking garage across Princeton street for $5 as well.

Q: How do I purchase a tree or participate in the silent auctions and drawings?

A:  All purchases and bids within Festival of Trees may be made online through the event’s OneCause page. Upon quickly registering an account, guests will be able to purchase trees, wreaths and vignettes as well as enter bids in the silent auction and gingerbread house auction. Tickets to the Entertaining By Design drawing may be purchased through OneCause, as well. Alternatively, all of these transactions may be conducted on-site at designated points of sale within the museum. Just follow signage or visit the Festival of Trees information desk to learn how you can take home a piece of the 2020 Festival of Trees.

Q: Will there be entertainment at Festival of Trees this year?

A:  Yes! As we celebrate this year’s theme, Joy to the World, guests will enjoy performances from choirs, dance groups, musicians and more. Each day will bring a new round of entertainers performing in one of three locations: The outdoor stage; the auditorium; or the rotunda. We will even have a socially-distant Santa in the auditorium on select weekend days.
Full entertainment schedule available at https://omart.me/fot-events

Q: Will children have an opportunity to interact with Santa?

A: Yes! Santa will be on the auditorium stage every Saturday and Sunday during the Festival of Trees. Children may chat with our jolly Santa while maintaining 6 ft. of social distance. There is a one-way path through the auditorium. Masks are required for all children and adults.

For photo ops, parents may walk through a cordoned area in front of the stage to take pictures. Our volunteers along with our helper "elves" from the Dr. Phillips High School Beta Club will be on hand to ensure a safe, consistent flow through the auditorium.

Q: What are the hours for Café 101?

A: Café 101 will be open daily from 10am-3pm. The café will be operating at less than 50% capacity with socially distanced tables. Food and beverages will be served to tables and masks are required when moving around the space. Enhanced and regular cleaning procedures between table usage will be implemented.

Q: Can I apply the cost of admission to Festival of Trees to a membership at the Orlando Museum of Art?

A: Absolutely! Whether you're renewing an existing membership or choosing to become a member for the first time, your 2020 Festival of Trees general admission ticket will earn you $15 off an OMA membership of any level. Inquire about museum membership at the front desk or visit http://omart.me/mbers.
